Chief Financial Officer

Our client, one of Australia's leading events management companies based in Toowoomba, is seeking a motivated and talented
Chief Financial Officer to manage the day-to-day financial activities of the organisation. Work hours are flexible and negotiable.
The
Chief Financial Officer will lead the development, implementation, monitoring and review of key financial frameworks, plans, strategies, systems and tools, and will be responsible for:

• Providing expert advice and support on a broad range of financial management issues to management
• Overseeing financial activities including cashflow forecasting, budgeting, accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll activities
• Maintain currency in relation to legislation pertaining to payroll, BAS and Superannuation
• Preparation of financial reports for management
• Assisting with human resources activities including recruitment, performance review and management, and training and development activities
• Implementing financial management strategies to assist the organisation in achieving its vision

Applicants should possess the following skills and experience:

• Completion of a Bachelor of Commerce, Business or a relevant degree and/or an advanced Diploma in Business or Accountancy, and/or demonstrated work experience in a similar role
• Ability to prepare, analyse and review cashflow and budgets
• Ability to lead and manage administration/finance teams
• Experience in payroll and human resource management
