In collaboration with the Head of Remuneration and Reward, this role supports setting policy, standards, and procedures for all aspects of executive remuneration and variable reward plans. It will ensure that AMP meets ASX notifications and legislative / regulatory obligations (CPS 511 Remuneration, Financial Accountability Regime) in respect to remuneration for executives and other specified role categories.
In addition to the above, this role will specifically focus on managing the executive remuneration and variable reward framework (Short- and Long-term incentive plans), and reward governance processes around executive hiring approvals and termination processes. As the lead executive reward advisor in the Remuneration and Reward team, the role is also responsible for managing AMP's annual executive remuneration disclosures and cyclical equity plan events.
How you will make an impact

  • Contribute to the refinement and design of the executive remuneration framework through conducting market analysis and benchmarking to evaluate the competitiveness of executive reward packages.
  • Lead the equity plan administration of AMP's long-term incentive plan, including facilitating internal processes and procedures with finance, tax, legal and Company Secretariat.
  • Prepare Board and Committee papers relating to executive remuneration, variable reward plans and broader reward governance matters, including executive remuneration content for the annual Notice of Meeting.
  • Prepare remuneration disclosures, including the annual remuneration reports for AMP and the Superannuation Trustee, CPS 511 Remuneration
  • Collaborate and engage with key stakeholders to ensure the executive remuneration framework is effective and applied consistently.


What you will bring to the role

  • Ideally at least 8 years' experience in executive remuneration and reward roles with multi-national, listed companies.
  • Practical experience in the design, development, and implementation of reward programs, including annual and long-term incentives (including equity).
  • Significant working and technical knowledge of relevant remuneration frameworks, policies, and best practice industry trends.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current market practices and trends in remuneration (executive and non-executive) and reward, along with exposure to broader commercial and strategic planning.
  • Practical experience and knowledge of the financial services' regulatory environment and the associated governance and reporting requirements (e.G. CPS 511).
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in HR, Commerce, Finance, Legal, or related discipline.


With your excellent communications skills, you have the confidence and ability to present recommendations and influence senior management. A subject matter expert, you can build credibility with your stakeholders and with your track record you leverage strategic, HR and commercial business acumen to develop pragmatic ideas, models and solutions that can be easily implemented into AMP's business.
As well as having an outstanding problem solving, analytical and consulting skills you can manage projects within allocated priorities and timeframes whilst delivering exceptional quality of your work.
