An exciting opportunity exists to lead the functions of the newly created Facilities Insourcing Taskforce (FIT) branch within the Housing Assistance Division.

The Facilities Insourcing Taskforce will evaluate the feasibility and advantages of insourcing of public housing facilities management currently outsourced by the ACT Government through the Total Facilities Management Services Agreement.

The Executive Branch Manager, Facilities Insourcing Taskforce will manage and lead the taskforce through the project development lifecycle from pre-feasibility stage to completion. The Executive Branch Manager, Facilities Insourcing Taskforce will provide strategic leadership and tactical and operational support and advice to ensure outcomes align with broader organisational goals and government policies.

The taskforce will assess the services in scope of the Total Facilities Management Services Agreement against the insourcing framework undertaking an initial review, assessment, and readiness review within a 12-month period. This will include advice to government and work with a variety of stakeholders within, and external to, government and ensure service continuity for tenants.

The Taskforce will take practical steps to look at new models for facilities management within public housing multi-unit properties by overseeing and evaluating pilot approaches.

Contract:
The successful applicant will be engaged under a short-term contract for a period of 12 months with the possibility of extension up to two years.

Remuneration:
The position attracts a remuneration package ranging from $249,020 - $258,969 depending on current superannuation arrangements of the successful applicant. This includes a cash component of $221,094.
