Role Overview:
As a Payroll Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll across multiple venues. You will manage end-to-end payroll functions, including data entry, reconciliation, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Your responsibilities will involve collaborating closely with venue managers and internal stakeholders to maintain payroll integrity and adherence to company policies. This role offers opportunities to streamline processes, recommend improvements, and contribute to the efficiency of the company’s payroll operations. As part of a close-knit team, you will work in a corporate environment that values diligence, continuous learning, and professional growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Process end-to-end fortnightly payrolls.
- Handle payroll requests accurately and promptly (e.G., new hires, separations, changes).
- Perform month-end reporting, reconciliation, and ensure timely payments.
- Ensure compliance with departmental controls to maintain accurate payroll functions.
- Maintain integrity of employee payroll data in payroll and time &
attendance systems.
- Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency improvements.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Prior experience in payroll processing or accounting roles is advantageous.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite;
familiarity with payroll software is a plus.
- Adaptability and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
