The company:

Headquartered in Brisbane, and a subsidiary of a global brand, our client has offices across the country, employs over 1,000 staff and has seen consistent year on year growth. On top of this, they have also been the recipient of multiple industry awards, including as an Employer of Choice.
About the role:
Due to continued and sustained growth, the established legal team is now looking to add a lawyer to the function. Reporting to the Head of Legal (Australia) and working across the business you will have a corporate, commercial and contracts focus including:

• drafting and advising on various contractual agreements;
  
• providing compliance, regulatory and risk advice across various product lines (as well as white-label / partner agreements);
  
• providing advice on promotional, advertising and editorial material for publication;
  
• intellectual property rights, IT, privacy and data protection;
  and
• complex multi-party commercial arrangements.

Skills/Experience:
To be considered for this role you will have:

• a minimum of 6 years' PAE and an unrestricted practicing certificate;
  
• demonstrated experience in drafting commercial contracts;
  
• preferably some in-house experience (whether on secondment or in your current role);
  
• a commercial approach allowing you to manage a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
