You will be joining a market-leading global health insurer based in Sydney or Melbourne as a Legal Counsel or Senior Legal Counsel with strong health insurance or general insurance legal experience.

About the Role
Responsibilities include:
- Provide legal advice and support on a wide range of health insurance matters, including policy development, regulatory compliance, and claims management
- Review and draft contracts, policies, and other legal documents to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Conduct legal research and analysis on global health insurance regulations and trends
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, claims, and customer service, to address legal issues and support business initiatives
- Monitor changes in laws and regulations affecting the health insurance industry and advise the company on potential impacts
- Provide training and guidance to internal stakeholders on legal and regulatory matters
About You
You have:
- Between 3-10PQE with relevant legal qualifications and practising certificate
- Strong private practice training
- Experience with general insurance and/or health insurance
