One of our Client is looking for Senior Business Analyst to be part of an innovative team delivering Identity and Biometric solutions, which contribute to
many functions of the Department .
The Specified Personnel will be responsible for providing the following deliverables including but not limited to:
Working on and assisting with the delivery of highly complex projects in the identity and biometrics space;
Working with stakeholders to identify and convey (orally and in writing) business need/s;
Working with stakeholders, to define and prioritise business requirements - presenting all pertinent
business information to an agreed standard, as required;
Working with stakeholders to define system requirements for the technical development teams.
Providing systems analysis support to technical teams.
Developing graphical representations of how business is done (as-is) and how business is to be done (to-
be) across a business unit;
Developing innovative solutions to identified business challenges, in consultation with business and ICT
stakeholders;
Defining and documenting new business practices and processes in a consistent and easily understood
manner and facilitating the agreement and sign-off of these with appropriate stakeholders;
Organising, facilitating and co-facilitating workshops to extract business/system requirements and defining
new or improved business/system processes;
Managing multiple tasks with competing priorities;
Managing effective working relationships with stakeholders;
Working in and across teams for varying durations to achieve the identified work area outcomes;
Leading co-design of elements of the solution;
Assisting in the development of epics, features and user stories;
Assisting in the prioritisation of the Product Backlog;
Assessing the developed capability meets agreed requirements and acceptance criteria;
Consulting withbroader co-design and business user stakeholders as required
Supporting the planning, execution and reporting of testing and trials of developed capability;
Supporting change management planning and execution including assisting in training, stakeholder
management, communications and business readiness assessments;
Assisting with business /ICT implementation activities;
Travelling interstate as required.
Specified Personnel will be expected to transfer skills and knowledge to departmental staff and ensure appropriate
documentation is stored in accordance with the Department's record keeping policy and practices.
The Specified Personnel will also be responsible for producing the following deliverables, including but not limited
to:
Business and system specifications/documentation;
Business and system process models;
Use cases/user stories;
Requirements management plans;
Project management related documents (including Project Initiation Document, Exception Reports, Stage
Plans, Executive Minutes, End Project Reports);
Change Management related documents artefacts including plans, training needs analysis, business
readiness assessments;
communications etc.;
Test and Trial plans and reports;
Business /ICT implementation plans.
