Project Director

ConsultANZ is in need of a Project Director for a top-tier Civil Engineering company offering an attractive remuneration package.

ConsultANZ require a Project Director to work for a client of ours on a major infrastructure project in Melbourne.

• $200K - $250K base salary + superannuation
• Major Civil Infrastructure Projects
• Melbourne, Victoria

The Role

As the Project Director you would take complete control of projects including the bid phase of new contracts and further through the management of your team. You will also manage and influence the following aspects including but not limited to, the Health and Safety, meeting key Financial and contractual responsibilities, management of specialist sub-contractors while developing a stable and efficient supply chain, develop and monitor the main works in a detailed program, and managing cost and resource accordingly throughout.

About you

• Previous experience in a senior management role on similar type of project - ideally within an Operate &
  Maintain environment.
• Have a track record of delivering technically challenging projects within time and cost constraints.
• Have the ability to manage the full life cycle of the works which encompasses front end set up including design and planning through to delivery of construction and final project close out.
• Comprehensive understanding of engineering principles including relevant specification on highway/road construction.
• High level of knowledge in contractual and commercial (good experience in standard forms of contract considered a minimum requirement).
• Excellent communication and people skills to effectively manage the link with other stakeholders and interface professionally with the client.
• A solutions-orientated attitude with established experience of being a leader.

• A rewarding package of $200K-$250K + negotiable dependent on experience.
