Our client are a forward-thinking transport business committed to excellence and inclusivity. As they embark on a journey of growth and development, they are seeking a passionate and skilled Learning and Development Partner to join the team on a 6-month contract basis.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate closely with HR and departmental managers to conduct thorough assessments of learning and development needs across the organisation.
  • Design and implement comprehensive learning strategies tailored to meet the identified needs, utilising a blend of traditional and digital learning methodologies.
  • Develop and curate high-quality learning content, including e-learning modules, digital resources, and interactive materials, to support employee skill development and career growth.
  • Facilitate engaging and interactive training sessions, workshops, and learning events, both in-person and virtually, to deliver impactful learning experiences.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of learning initiatives through the use of metrics, feedback, and assessments, and make data-driven adjustments to continuously improve learning outcomes.
  • Lead the coordination and execution of our Reconciliation Action Plan (RAP) initiatives, working closely with Indigenous stakeholders, community partners, and internal teams to promote cultural awareness, understanding, and reconciliation within the organisation.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on learning and development opportunities, career pathways, and professional development resources.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in learning and development, and proactively incorporate innovative approaches to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of learning programs.


The Successful Applicant

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in learning and development, preferably with 5+ years in a L&
    D role.
  • Strong proficiency in e-learning platforms and digital learning tools.
  • Facilitation skills with the ability to engage and inspire participants in training sessions.
  • Experience in running and implementing Reconciliation Action Plans (RAP) is highly desirable.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on inclusivity and cultural sensitivity.
  • Ability to work autonomously and take ownership of the L&
    D function in a standalone capacity
