About the Role

As a key member of our Security Operations team in Brisbane, you will work with counterparts across the country to support and optimise delivery of managed security services to domestic and global clients.

Your main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Management of Security Operations platforms including SIEM, XDR, VMS, Email Gateway and OT Network Visibility
  • Leading a diverse range of projects encompassing client onboarding, system migrations and technology upgrades, while providing strategic expertise and dedicated guidance to our Managed Security Service clients
  • Maintenance and continual improvement of existing platforms, supporting systems and infrastructure
  • Conducting technical evaluations and driving selection of products that can enhance the service offering
  • Supporting the security operations in the delivery of services to our diverse range of clients

We are looking for a well-organised professional, with initiative and enthusiasm. You will have over 5 years of relevant experience and will have a good mix of the following skills, knowledge &
experience. This role would a security all-rounder who is seeking to work with

  • Experience with Cloud Email Gateway, Web/DNS Filtering and Network Visibility Platforms such as Mimecast, Netskope, Umbrella and Nozomi.
  • Highly skilled in EDR/XDR products such as SentinelOne, Carbon Black or Windows Defender
  • Proficient with SIEM solutions like Splunk and Sentinel, utilizing their advanced modules for security monitoring.
  • Working knowledge of relevant query languages such as SPL and KQL
  • In-depth expertise in managing both on-premises and cloud-based infrastructure (AWS/Azure)
  • Experienced with configuring, deploying and managing firewall appliances (Palo/Fortinet/Cisco)
  • Knowledgeable in scripting with Python, Bash, PowerShell
  • Experience in the use of SOAR or automation platforms to optimise and streamline security operations
  • Problem-solving attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Relevant industry certifications are highly regarded
