Position Overview:

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Vice President ofSustainability to continue to drive our sustainability initiativesand strategies across all levels of the business. This executiverole requires a strategic leader who can champion sustainability,foster innovation, and ensure our practices align with globalenvironmental and community standards across the countries where weoperate.

Global Responsibilities:

  • Improve and drive the execution of our comprehensivesustainability strategies, policies and initiatives that alignwith Molycop's long-term goals.
  • Develop and drive the business' DecarbonisationPlan.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to champion and integratesustainable practices across all business units.
  • Oversee sustainability reporting, ensuring transparency andcompliance with international standards.
  • Collaborate with key stakeholders, including executives,employees, partners, and regulators, to promote sustainabilityinitiatives.
  • Drive continuous improvement in environmental performanceand resource efficiency.
  • Ensure strategic investment to create social value in ourcommunities and support the ongoing development of diversityand inclusion plans.
  • Represent the company in sustainability forums,conferences, and with industry groups.
  • Identify and mitigate environmental risks associated withbusiness operations.
  • Foster a culture of sustainability and environmentalstewardship within the organization.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability,Business Administration or a related field (Master's degreepreferred).
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in sustainabilityleadership roles, with a track record of success in globalorganisations, preferably with manufacturing or industrialbackground.
  • Deep understanding of sustainability principles,environmental regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire cross-functional teamsand manage complex projects.
  • A strategic thinker prepared for some transactionalactivities.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and influencingskills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities combinedwith commercial acumen.
  • Ability to work effectively and flexibly in a fast-paced,global environment.
