Test Lead

One of the largest Insurance businesses require an experienced Test Manager to join on a multi-year program.

Our client in the Insurance sector is in need of a Test Manager to lead the effective delivery of test strategies and plans for programs. The role involves overseeing functional and non-functional testing, coordinating test environments, managing testing tools, resources, and test automation. You will supervise and coordinate Engineering Test Leads, develop test plans, prepare test cases and data, and participate in test execution.

Key Accountabilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies.
• Define test environment governance processes.
• Support automation requests and secure necessary approvals.
• Utilise testing tools like Jira and Zephyr.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies.
• Collaborate for security and penetration testing, and business continuity planning.
• Coordinate and support all test phases.
• Communicate with key stakeholders and ensure alignment on testing goals.
• Lead vendor management activities.
• Secure stakeholder sign-offs and approvals.

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years in the Insurance Industry (mandatory)
• 2-6 years of Test Management in large-scale projects
• Advanced stakeholder management and strong communication skills.
• Effective supervision and team leadership.
• Knowledge of SDLC, STLC, defect management, and test automation.
• Proficiency in testing tools (JIRA, Confluence, Zephyr) and Microsoft Office.
