About the opportunity:

Based in Moorebank, The Senior Technical Manager will be responsible for managing the process technical deliverables across the national operations sites, including Baking and Grocery sites. This includes leading the site Technical Managers to ensure the consistent application of process and frameworks for existing and new product development rollout/commercialisation across Australia. This role is also required to create and / or manage the process frameworks to ensure optimal product quality and consistent outcomes.

Specifically you will:

• Lead and develop functional technical expertise for the business
• Lead change management efforts to embed seamless integration between Operations and R&
  D on all innovative initiatives
• Build a strong successful and motivated team (6) with a focus on talent development and build high performance culture
• Lead Operations and Quality strategy to consistently manage process control to deliver improved consistency of product quality and yield.
• Develop process maps and continuous improvement approaches that deliver improved performance and consistency at our Bakery and Grocery Sites.
• Develop strategies to implement innovation initiatives on time and to quality standards as detailed within the project timelines.
• Lead and manage Benchmarking / Trends / Tracking of ingredients through to finished products.
• Lead and Manage process control training programs to improve all sites technical skills especially for frontline leadership teams and staff.

To be successful in this role you will need:

• Demonstrated experience within end-to-end operations (essential)
• Experience in FMCG (Technical Baking experience highly regarded)
• Technical / Process Engineer Background
• Demonstrated experience in process improvement practices
• Demonstrated experience in line with GF technical and leadership capabilities
• Strong communication skills, and an ability to lead cross-functional teams (essential)
