Description Working in our Enablement team at Mutinex you'll be responsible for designing, building, upgrading and maintaining stable, secure and scalable software architecture and code that creates value for Mutinex and it's customers.
As a Senior or Staff Engineer (we're open to people at both levels) you'd be expected to design the architecture and act as a Technical lead to give our Engineers the best possible environment to work efficiently in building our GrowthOS &
DataOS platforms for our customers.
We're a relatively early stage startup that's grown a lot this year, so you'd be someone that enjoys coming in at earlier stages into scrappier environments. We are a long way from being a big, slow, rigid corporate and hopefully we never get to that point.
Our office is close to Central station and we have a hybrid way of working, with 1-2 days a week in the office.
The role Being dedicated to Engineering enablement, the role is more backend focused but will still require some frontend work. Our tech stack is node.Js, typescript and Google Cloud (GCP), we're also using Python, Dagster, DBT and Airflow but that's not a requirement for this team.
You will enable scaling via optimal infrastructure, develop tooling, templates, automations and services.
You won't have direct reports but we would expect you to have strong mentoring ability and help our less Senior Engineers learn and grow, while collaborating with our other Seniors on Technical decisions and architecture.
What will the first 30-90 days look like

30 days - Get settled into your new role and company, become familiar with team members, environments, domain and product roadmap. You'd start to contribute code and make an impact towards the end of the first month.
60 days - Inputting ideas and identifying opportunities to improve and evolve the infrastructure, and moving towards peak impact
90 days - You'd now be hitting maximum impact in terms of team contribution in technical decisions and contribtion, team impact and ideas presented

Through enabling our business to scale by having highly effective Product &
Engineering teams
What we are looking for We're looking for someone who is either already a Staff level Engineer or a Senior who has led technical projects and can demonstrate strong Software architecture experience.
Experience with our tech stack is good to have but it's more important that you have event driven architecture and ideally have already working in platform/developer enablement roles.
Mutinex is a startup so not everything here is perfect yet so you'll be self aware your ability to work in environments like this. Which means being very hands on, collaborative, comfortable with change and enjoy building from earlier stages.
