Worley has been providing onsite Engineering and Project Delivery Services to our customer since 2015. We work over the full project lifecycle from idea generation to implementation oversight for projects and major maintenance ranging from small in value to over $10m in size.

Due to an increase in work, we are excited to welcome an experienced Senior Project Engineer / Project Manager to join our team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone to gain site-based experience and accelerate their career with Worley.

You will be accountable for the timely, cost effective, technically sound, and safe design delivery ensuring quality outcomes are achieved in accordance with business and project requirements.

This role is based on site at Portland therefore the successful applicant will be required to be based locally.

What you'll do

• Manage and coordinate multidiscipline engineering and procurement activities to ensure projects are executed in a safe, efficient, cost effective and timely manner.
• Ensure the project conforms to the client's approved Basis of Design and all applicable regulatory and code requirements.
• Coordinate the review of technical data across a multi- discipline engineering team.
• Engage directly with the client to ensure a successful delivery of the project and continue to build the relationship.
• Organise schedule and cost control.

What you'll have

• A tertiary qualification in Engineering.
• Additional qualifications in Business or Project Management would be viewed favourably.
• Broad experience within an operations/engineering and project management environment within a leadership capacity delivering complex program of projects.
• Expertise in the mining, alumina and / or heavy industry.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with multiple stakeholders across various locations.
• Based in, or willingness to relocate to Portland, VIC.
