Our team is growing, we are currently recruiting for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Perth office.

About the role

  • Contribute to the delivery of multi-disciplinary engineering designs and feasibility studies.
  • Prepare technical reports related to specific design issues.
  • Prepare equipment procurement packages, designs, calculations and cost estimates for conventional engineering, research, and development assignments.
  • Develop networks and relationships within teams, across the organisation and with clients.
  • Assist with the preparationof proposals and tenders (such as estimating design hours).
  • Basic management skills - be able to monitor workload;
    remain within assigned budget and alert supervisor if the budget estimate will be exceeded.

About you

  • Degree qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience in engineering consulting and EPC/EPCM projects in the mining and resources sectors.
  • Design experience using S3D, HELIX, Rocky, Autopipe, PSFF, Hammeretc. highly regarded.
  • Project and/or site experience highly regarded.
  • Sound understanding of current codes and standards including Australian and ASME.
  • RPEQ or willing to work towards accreditation.
