The role


We have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Senior Marketing Manager to lead the development and implementation of the asset marketing strategy for our market leading Karrinyup Shopping Centre.

Karrinyup needs no introduction as WA's premier fashion, dining and lifestyle destination boasting over 300 stores and within close proximity to local beaches and coastal strips.

This is a key, influential role that will take end to end accountability for the successful development and execution of the centre's marketing strategy and delivery of all marketing activity and programming across multiple digital platforms, touchpoints and audiences. You will lead a team of 2 direct (2 indirect) reports and work in close collaboration with the Centre Manager and report to the General Manager, Retail Marketing.

What you will be doing

  • Developing and leading the delivery of the marketing strategy for the asset to deliver market share, traffic and sales in line with targets.
  • Championing the brand and ensure the creative execution and communications effectively delivers on the brand proposition and positioning within the Flagship tier brand expression framework.
  • Driving an experiential activation schedule that positions the asset experience above competitors and drives high levels of customer engagement and NPS.
  • Developing the annual marketing budget for the asset. Set appropriate budgets to deliver the marketing strategy and manage spend appropriately including monthly reforecasting and reporting.
  • Leading the asset analysis of market segmentation, trend themes and motivations of our customer base in order to create compelling and effective campaigns.
  • Utilising data insights to drive and deliver digital and social strategies which drive acquisition and engagement across our owned platforms.
  • Actively contributing to the delivery of the retailer engagement strategy at the asset, (work with Retail Manager, Centre Manager &
    Leasing to deliver) including retailer meetings to discuss performance and devising strategies to support critical retailers.
  • Coaching and developing the Marketing Manager to effectively execute the identified initiatives within the Marketing Plan and drive their professional growth.
  • Lead, coach and motivating the marketing team as people leader including conducting performance conversations and ensuring training and development plans are in place
  • Working closely with the National Marketing team on the development and delivery of major project initiatives, i.E. Customer Service &
    Tourism Strategies.
  • Participating in the late-night, weekend and Christmas extended trade Duty Manager roster as required.
