CommBank Smart Health is Australia's first truly end-to-end digital solution for the healthcare industry - providing convenient and secure payment, claiming, and directory capabilities for Australia's healthcare payer schemes, providers and patients.
Role Positioning
In the technology sector, a product marketing manager often acts as the bridge between the technical and business worlds. They are responsible for understanding market trends, analysing competitor products, and defining a product vision that meets customer demands.
In a B2B setting, product marketing managers need to understand complex business processes and decision-making structures. Their role often involves crafting tailored messages for different stakeholders within the target businesses.
This role will act as a pivotal link between working with the rest of the UX team to help evolve the User Research and insights obtained from the activities and initiatives that the UX team undertake with multiple cohorts, stakeholders, partners and end users (including external and internal user of Smart health products and services).
Key responsibilities:

  • Define and communicate the product's value proposition
  • Develop and implement go-to-market strategies
  • Conduct market and competitive analysis
  • Work closely with product development teams to deliver products that align with market needs
  • Create product content, including case studies, white papers, and blog posts, sales and implementation tool kits
  • Develop messaging and positioning for the product
  • Understand and document the buyer's journey
  • Create and launch effective go-to-market plans
  • Drive demand and usage of the product
  • Create sales enablement tools, like pitch decks, datasheets, and demo videos


Required skills and experience:

  • Technical background with a strong understanding of the tech industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to make data-driven decisions
  • Experience in B2B marketing and sales
  • Strong understanding of business processes and decision-making structures
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
