Senior Manufacturing Engineer

We are partnering with an ASX Listed OEM who specialises in Robotics, Mining Equipment &
Technologies, to recruit a Senior Manufacturing Engineer.
Reporting to the Operations &
Fabrication Manager;
you will be the interface between the engineering design and manufacturing team on the workshop floor, focusing on lean manufacturing best practices and the continuous improvement of product development.
About The Role:

• Focusing on continuous improvement of design, fabrication and product development
• Manufacturing process optimisation
• Focusing on strong LEAN manufacturing principles - implementation and execution
• Project engineering
• Develop production procedures, documentation and process mapping as required
• Communicate your findings with strong evidence/data to support your position

Requirements:

• Mechanical Engineering degree - 5+ years industry experience with a recognised OEM ideally with automation/heavy mobile equipment
• Strong LEAN implementation experience
• Six Sigma:
  Black or Green Belt highly desirable
• A proven track record improving manufacturing &
  engineering processes with market deployed products
