We are seeking an experienced property/commercial lawyer to work as part of the Department of Transport and Main Road's Legal Services team.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

- providing accurate legal advice on a wide range of legal matters;
- drafting and negotiating a wide range of legal documents;
- building and maintaining collaborative working relationships with internal clients and external stakeholders;
- preparing briefings and instructions to Crown Law and other external legal providers on matters of a complex legal nature.

Mandatory qualifications and conditions:

- Due to this role having access to sensitive data, a criminal history check will be undertaken prior to appointment to the role.
- Holds a Degree in Law and has been admitted or is eligible to be admitted as a Solicitor or Barrister in the Supreme Court of Queensland
