The role

The Senior Finance Business Partner role will provide strategic finance business partnering and decision-making support to the Asset and the Asset Leadership Team. You'll work closely with General Managers and their leadership teams to ensure all accounting, analysis, forecasting, and reporting are performed efficiently and accurately.

More about the role:

• Responsible for the timely and accurate reporting for management reporting on costs, including provision of strategic insights, analysis, and interpretation of financial data that enables and challenges managers to efficiently drive their business and deliver cost reduction initiatives.
• Prepare Operating Opex and Capital spend budgets and quarterly forecasts.
• Prepare reports and presentations for key internal stakeholders and APLNG partners to align business strategy and drivers.
• Proactively contribute to the development and improvement of reporting, analysis, and processes.
• Establish reporting and systems required for Origin's renewables business to ensure fit for purpose.
• Drive Frontline Leadership cost accountability within Intergraded Gas, developing and delivering reporting improvements.
• Developing, coaching and mentoring other team members within the Finance team.

About you

You are an experienced Management Accounting professional with expertise in budgeting and forecasting, and an understanding of the energy/renewables industry. You have the ability to partner effectively with business leaders.

More about you:

• A Tertiary qualification (accounting, commerce, or engineering)
• A sound knowledge of accounting standards and practise
• Experience with TM1 or other Business Intelligence tools
• Experience with SAP S4 Hanna
