Senior Estimator

We are representing a prestigious boutique construction company, renowned for its financial stability, superior building quality, and a steadfast dedication to customer satisfaction. Currently, we are on the lookout for a Senior Estimator who embodies their core values and is ready to take on a dynamic range of predominately high-rise residential projects.
Who we are looking for:
A Senior Estimator who has a demonstrated track record working on a variety of medium and high-rise residential developments ($10M - $50M) with reputable companies accompanied by reliable associated tenures. Our client build, from start to finish, ensuring optimum consistency, cost efficiency and quality of finishes on every project they t
ake on.
The position of Senior Estimator will see you responsible for:

• Preparation of the initial estimating assessment of tenders
• Liaising with suppliers, subcontractors, and internal procurement team to negotiate pricing
• Comparison and analysis of subcontractor pricing
• Liaise with the construction teams to finalise tender submission prices prior to submissions
• Presenting cost estimates to Senior Management and Project Managers
• Exploring documentation to gain a deep understanding of the project scope of works and tender framework
• Managing the tender process with the assigned Project Manager including the Bid Submission

Desired skills and qualifications that will see you be successful in this role as Senior Estimator:

• Tertiary qualification in Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Quantity Surveying
• Substantial LOCAL experience (5-10 Years) Estimating in construction with experience in residential and high-rise developments
• Un-waivered work ethic and desire to be a collaborative team player
• High level computer skills and numeracy including the following programs:
  Buildsoft/ Cubit or equivalent, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Word
