The Opportunity

We are currently looking for a Senior Business Analyst (Data Products) to join our team! Based in our head office in Melbourne, this role reports into the OneDigital Product Manager to support the development of data products for OnePass and the wider Wesfarmers businesses. The role will play a critical part in the evolution of the business and data team to identify strategic opportunities to drive value through data and data products. This role directly supports OnePass and OneData in delivering the commercial strategic plans with a focus on growing customer and business value.

What you'll be doing

  • Partner with key stakeholder across OnePass, OneData and Wesfarmers businesses to gather requirements, and develop plans for the development of data products
  • Undertake data analysis to identify potential business opportunities and to develop business cases
  • Collaborate with architecture, data and technology teams to identify data solutions for OnePass product enablement
  • Develop strong understanding of the privacy, compliance and governance framework and its implications for the use of data and development of data products
  • Maintain documentation relating to data sources and data products for internal and external consumption
  • Own and undertake continuous improvement of existing processes and documentation standards
  • Support the Product Manager to develop and maintain product roadmaps coordinated across the various OneDigital functions
  • Prioritise engagements and tasks with the business stakeholders and end customers at the core of decision making

What you'll need

  • An experienced professional who has thrived in Agile team environments, adept at navigating dynamic workflows and iterative development cycles
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with an ability to build rapport and create great working relationships
  • Outcomes focus with expertise in planning for multiple initiatives and prioritising for value
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills with ability to communicate clearly and concisely
  • Ability to undertake data analysis with hands-on SQL code
  • Ideally have experience working in a data and analytics environment with exposure to marketing, product, analytics, engineering and/or data architecture
  • Embraces ambiguity with confidence, demonstrating adaptability and resilience in rapidly evolving project landscapes
  • Flexibility to travel to some other office locations around Melbourne when required
