Job Description
The work will be varied and include (not limited to):
- General commercial litigation
- Insolvency
- Contractual disputes
- Corporations disputes
- Partnership disputes
- Negligence actions
- Voidable transactions
- Banking &
finance litigation - Building and construction disputes
This role requires the ability to:
- Provide clients with legal advice and conduct litigation
- Conduct effective legal research and analysis to produce timely, commercial and legally accurate advice
- Collaborate with partners and counsel to develop case strategies and innovative legal solutions
- Manage a diverse caseload while ensuring exceptional attention to detail and deadlines
- Maintain confidentiality when working on high profile matters
The Successful Applicant
This role will suit a professional and enthusiastic Senior Associate with demonstrated experience in Litigation &
Dispute Resolution. Ideally you will already be part of a litigation practice in the ACT and Federal Courts and ready to step straight into this growing, high-energy team.
Your ability to relate to clients and work in a team will be highly valued. You will work closely with the Partner, Special Counsels and other Senior Associates and junior Lawyers to continue to develop your skills and build your practice.
You will provide tailored advice to clients ranging from individuals, small to medium enterprises and large national organisations. You will find a diverse commercial litigation practice base with a broad range of interesting and exciting work.
You will be organised, motivated and will fit in well culturally with the other members of this collaborative, supportive and friendly team.
