Security Solution Architect

• Develop cyber security polices, standards and controls to ensure best practice in infrastructure, DevOps, data, application and cyber outcomes for the company
• Provide thought leadership in information security, develop strategies and plans to enforce company-wide security requirements, address identified risks and develop security awareness programs
• Develop security architecture for new and existing solutions, and provide technical security expertise and be the go-to person for the engineering team
• Architect and implement network security and cloud security on Azure and AWS
• Evaluate vendor technology solutions to ensure adherence to security policies and standards
• Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design documents, and best practices guidelines

Requirements

• 5+ years security experience with key responsibilities in architecture and design and 8+ years of varied overall IT security experience.

• Hands-on experience in securing cloud environments across AWS and Azure is a must

• Experience in vendor solution assessment

• Deep experience in Security related platform and application experience

• Experience with common information security management frameworks (e.G. SOC2, ISO27001,ISCO27002) and Australian Information Security prudential standards

• Strong communication and influencing skills and the ability to translate complex technical information into easily understood pieces for non technical audiences

• Experience in a Web3/digital start-up / scale up business would be highly desirable
