Newly created role to join leading state government department on large enterprise level program. You will be joining a well-established and high-performance team delivering new platforms that have a significant impact on social services and outcomes.
What you'll be doing

  • Lead the assessment, analysis, planning and design of release packages, including risk assessment;
  • Liaise with Project teams, vendors, business and IT partners on release scheduling for all environments;
  • Provide regularupdates on release progress to stakeholders;
  • Create and manage detailed release plans and schedules;
  • Apply knowledgeof configuration, environment, change and release management to ensure release quality;
  • Develop and deliver release artefacts and highlight reports;
  • Conduct post-release reviews and report on achievements, progress, risks and issues;
  • Identify and escalate release risks and issues to management;
    and
  • Collaboratewith multi-disciplinary teams to deliver on time and within scope.

What you need to bring

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in Release / Implementation management for large programs;
  • Experience using Service Now or similar applications;
  • Awareness of ITIL methodologies or ITIL certification;
  • Ability to interpret architecture diagrams and documents;
  • Experience withSaaS products and solutions;
  • Familiarity with Microsoft WIKI and Microsoft DevOps;
  • Demonstrated experience in Release / Environment management in CRM and Case Management applications;
  • Relevant IT andAgile methodology experience;
  • Strong people skills and the ability to work well in a team;
    and
  • Results-oriented, detailed and self-motivated.
