About the Role

Reporting to the Head of Quality Assurance, you will be responsible for the scheduling and communication for all changes and releases to VT, UAT and Supp environments, in accordance with time, quality and cost criteria and Service Management frameworks (ITIL).

Responsibilities for the role include:

  • Overseeing and managing the Release Management related processes.
  • Chairing the Release Management Schedule sessions.
  • Collaborate with all internal and relevant external stakeholder groups.
  • Manage and deliver releases into key environments in consultation with the relevant stakeholders.

About You

You will have all or majority of the following skills and attributes:

  • Formal qualifications in a relevant discipline such as Business, ITIL or Project Management.
  • 5+years' experience in a product and/or release management role.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively plan, manage and deliver medium to high complexity and releases to time, quality and cost criteria.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively develop and manage varied client and stakeholder relationships and expectations. This includes the ability to communicate effectively and to influence others.
  • Strong analytical, problem solving and negotiation skills.
  • Intermediate level skills in the day-to-day use of typical Microsoft Office programs (including Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Experience working with Agile and/or Squad communities and products.

Experience in the banking and payments industry, along with a strong working knowledge of the PCI-DSS standard and proficiency in Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) processes related to release management, will be highly regarded.
