Key Responsibilities
As a Psychiatrist at Life Matters, you'll conduct comprehensive psychiatric assessments and
evaluations of clients, including clinical interviews, psychological assessments, and diagnostic
evaluations. You'll work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement
personalized treatment plans, integrating evidence-based therapeutic interventions to
enhance the mental health and well-being of our clients.
Requirements
- Medical degree and specialist training in Adult Psychiatry
- Current registration with the Royal Australian &
New Zealand College of Psychiatrists
(RANZCP)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in adult psychiatry
- Demonstrated knowledge of evidence-based practices in adult psychiatry
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and time management skills
Desired Qualities
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in psychiatry and a passion for client
centred care. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential. Experience
working with diverse populations, including LGBTQIA+ individuals, is highly desirable.
