Our opportunity

The Project and Strategic Advisor will support the Director Regulatory Services to achieve business and strategic priorities across the Division.

Key accountabilities

  • Provide high quality, authoritative and strategic advice to the Director Regulatory Services;
  • Apply expert project management methodology to Regulatory Services Division strategic projects, and broader VGCCC projects and initiatives;
  • Prepare Ministerial briefings, reports, correspondence, Executive, Commission and Committee papers and other governance material.

Who we are looking for

To be successful in this position you will have:

  • Demonstrated understanding of and experience working in public policy, government processes, public sector governance and regulatory environments;
  • Experience developing business plans, policy framework, program development documents, and briefs on highly complex issues for senior management;
  • Proven ability to utilise project management methodology.
