We are now excited to invite applications for the role of Media Investment Director (Senior Investment Director opportunity also considered) with our awesome team in Sydney.

The role:

As the Investment Director or Senior Investment Director you are responsible for leading the investment deliverables across a client portfolio with a strong investment profile. You will have the responsibility for the direction of the investment team direct reports, workflow, quality adherence and the how clients are informed about their investment activity and the marketplace.

Absolutely essential for this role is extensive Offline Media Investment and Trading experience, ideally paired with strong holistic media buying knowledge to work well with our Digital Leads and connect with Digi providers also. We are seeking someone who is inspired to play a leadership role within the wider investment community.

Core responsibilities:

• Lead the client relationship for investment and implementation
• Drive and build the very best investment processes for your team and clients
• Work with the media planners and buyers to deliver to contracted commitments (clients and media owners)
• Leads the investment responses on the larger and more complex client briefs
• Able to identify the appropriate partners to work with to deliver a business outcome
• Leads contract negotiations and contract tracking for client's investment
• Needs to work highly effectively with media owner partners, media auditors and the Amplifi team in dentsu
• Has overall accountability for the quality of investment documentation.
• Able to present and clearly articulate the investment proposals and opportunities in the marketplace

• Strong mid-senior relationships in market and ability to leverage and connect in true partnership style
• An expert in the Australian media market place
• Ability to use and understand market and proprietary investment tools and systems
• Have an opinion, agile, dynamic, competitive, ambitious
• Passion for the industry, love solving problems for clients - go beyond the basics
• You will love media, love the industry - be eager to get out in market and attend events, produce thought leadership pieces and generally thrive in the world of media!
• Ambition to be instrumental in building Investment community across dentsu
• Previously held accountability for the accuracy in forecasting media billings by media owners
• Demonstrated success in supporting new business and pitch activity
