Reporting to the Chief Legal &
Commercial Officer, the Legal Counsel, Commercial &
Property is responsiblefor day-to-day work for MMA's legal, property and insurance portfolios. The role deals with an array of complex issues, requiring you to liaise with numerous stakeholders regularly. Among other matters the role includes:
general commercial contracting, property and tenancy management, compliance, tendering and procurement, employment, disputes, privacy and insurance. You will provide leadership to the property team including direct reports.

Interaction with multiple stakeholders means that communication skills and the ability to juggle priorities and manage workflow are important attributes.A commercial and/or property lawyer with mid-level experiencewill enjoy the challenges of this role. Candidates currently in-house or in private practice will be considered.

This role suits a lawyer who enjoys a broad role and the opportunity to contribute within a small organisation in a broader sense. You are responsive, practical and outcomes focused. You will apply yourself to the role with integrity, professionalism and enthusiasm.
