About the role
Our Melbourne team is seeking a corporate lawyer with 1-2 years PAE, to focus on M&
A and general corporate matters. We will also consider newly admitted lawyers who have a genuine interest in this practice area.

Working closely with Partner William Khong, you will work on a wide range of M&
A, often involving national corporates and private equity. You will also be involved in general corporate and commercial matters, including advising on business structure/ restructure, intellectual property, data privacy and contract preparation. You will also be afforded opportunities to work with the teams in our Sydney and Brisbane offices and benefit from our national practice.

This is an excellent opportunity to receive hands on mentoring and guidance from a seasoned professional while you continue to grow your skills and depth of experience.

About you
Our ideal candidate will have some experience in corporate and commercial law matters and/or sound knowledge of the relevant legislation. You will be eager to find a firm where you can grow your career and benefit from opportunities to progress in our Corporate &
Commercial practice. You will also possess:

  • Excellent communication and drafting skills
  • Critical and analytical thinking with the ability to effectively problem solve and demonstrate initiative
