The Role:

We are seeking a highly experienced Head of People with a strong background in the scale-up tech sector. The ideal candidate will have 7-10+ years of experience in talent and people management, with a particular focus on the people side over the last 4 years. If you are a strategic thinker, an excellent leader, and a culture champion with a proven track record in managing and growing high-performing teams, we want to hear from you.

What You Will Own:

  • Performance Reviews:
    Design and implement effective performance review systems to drive individual and team success, ensuring continuous feedback and professional development.
  • Payroll Management:
    Oversee and ensure accurate and timely payroll processes, including compliance with local regulations and tax requirements.
  • Offsite Planning:
    Organize and manage company offsite events to foster team bonding, strategic planning, and overall company alignment.
  • Value Implementation:
    Embed company values into all aspects of our people strategy and daily operations, promoting a strong and cohesive company culture.
  • Talent and Hiring Strategies:
    Enhance and develop innovative strategies to attract, retain, and grow top talent, including developing employer branding initiatives and optimizing the recruitment process.
  • Employee Engagement:
    Drive initiatives to increase employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention through various programs and activities.
  • Career Development:
    Implement career development and training programs to support employee growth and skill enhancement.
  • Conflict Resolution:
    Manage employee relations issues, mediate conflicts, and provide guidance to employees and managers to ensure a harmonious work environment.
  • Diversity and Inclusion:
    Develop and implement strategies to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the company.
  • Compliance:
    Ensure all HR policies and procedures comply with legal requirements and best practices.
  • Onboarding and Offboarding:
    Oversee the onboarding process for new hires and ensure smooth transitions during offboarding.
  • Visa Management:
    Handle all aspects of visa applications and compliance for international team members, ensuring a smooth and legal hiring process for global talent.
  • Vendor Relations:
    Manage relationships with People &
    Culture vendors to ensure top-tier services and solutions, including benefits providers, training vendors, and recruitment agencies.
  • HR Analytics:
    Utilize HR metrics and data analysis to inform decision-making and improve HR processes and strategies.

What We Are Looking For:

  • 7-10+ years of experience in the scale-up tech space, with a strong focus on people management for at least the last 4 years.
  • Proven experience in leading and managing a team.
  • Expertise in performance review systems, payroll management, and organizing company events.
  • Strong understanding of talent acquisition, retention strategies, and value implementation.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage visa processes and vendor relationships effectively.
  • Demonstrated ability to implement effective employee engagement and career development programs.
  • Experience in conflict resolution and fostering a positive work environment.
