Job Description
As the Head of Finance for Australia and New Zealand, you will play a critical role in supporting the local management team and ensuring compliance is met both locally and with the US. This position is responsible for overseeing all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and strategic planning.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the financial planning and analysis processes.
- Managing the preparation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and local regulations.
- Ensuring compliance with US GAAP and other regulatory requirements are met.
- Providing strategic financial guidance to the local management team.
- Overseeing budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
- Managing the local finance team whilst fostering their professional development.
- Collaborating with global finance teams to align regional and global financial strategies.
- Supporting business expansion initiatives and evaluating investment opportunities.
The Successful Applicant
CA/CPA qualified you will be a seasoned finance professional with a strong background in managing financial operations within a multinational company, ideally with exposure working in SAAS or IT related organisation. You will have extensive experience in finance leadership roles, knowledge of US GAAP and a proven track record in financial planning, analysis and reporting. In addition to this you will be a strategic thinker with a strong problem-solving background who can lead and develop high-performing finance teams.
