About the Role

Reporting to the Business Services Manager, this roleprimarily focuses on the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financialoperations within Novatech. Main Tasks and Duties include:

• Coordinating and execution of weekly payroll, includingresponsibility all pay-related queries and payroll compliance.
• Completing comprehensive financial compliance tasksincluding BAS, FBT, Payroll Tax, and Workcover reconciliations.
• Coordinating end-of-month accounting procedures, ensuringaccuracy through reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Maintaining integrity of accounting records, including CashAccounts reconciliation and Fixed Asset Register management.
• Supporting development of accounting policies, processenhancements, and internal controls.
• Providing high-level support to Business Services Manager onfinancial management, data auditing, and analysis, while staying updated onlegislative changes and new technologies

Experience

• Minimum Diploma of Accounting or equivalent, along withmembership in a recognized Accounting body, and familiarity with MYOB Advancedor other ERP systems.
• Comprehensive understanding of both administrative functionsand accounting support, reflecting versatility and a holistic approach tobusiness operations.
• Proven experience supporting Finance Managers or higher,demonstrating adaptability and initiative.
• In-depth knowledge ofaccounting principles, standards, and ATO compliance, ensuring meticulousattention to detail.
• Strong proficiency in IT and systems, particularly Excel andWord, for efficient data management.
