Finance Business Partner

Would you like to join our Commercial Finance Team of one of Resourcery Groups best clients? If so we have the role for you, we are looking for a Commercial Finance Business Partner to join a business based just outside of Chester.

You will be responsible for supporting stakeholders and building these relationships.

Objective of the role:

To support the Finance Manager in ensuring that:

• Financial control is maintained at all times.
• Reporting provided to the Business unit is accurate and timely.
• Value-add Analysis is delivered which helps drive business performance.

Role Responsibilities:

• Focus on financial control - ensuring that point of sale margin reported is complete, accurate and compliant.
• Work closely with Commercial Finance colleagues to ensure Commercial Income delivery is compliant.
• Provide timely reporting to the teams which gives a clear view of sales and margin performance.
• Provide analysis related to margin drivers such as promotion performance.
• Work with stakeholders to help ensure that sales and margin forecasts are robust.
• Support the budgeting and forecasting processes.

• Work collaboratively with peers to share best practice and ensure consistency.
• Build strong relationships with stakeholders.
• Work with the wider Commercial Finance.

Ideal Candidate:

• Ability to communicate in a clear and engaging way.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong stakeholder management skills and an ability to work well with non-Finance stakeholders.
• Part-qualified / studying in ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
• Advanced Excel skills essential.
• Power BI or SQL experience advantageous.
• Experience within a Commercial Finance environment would be beneficial.
