About the Role

The Digital Product Finance team focuses on accelerating digital through partnering with Business Leaders to bring financial expertise and enable strategic decision making. Our online business is key to Coles' future success and in this role, you will work at pace to support the strategic growth agenda and drive value creation. This is a rapidly growing area of the business and you will have the opportunity to work on projects that make an impact.

You will also;

  • Partner closely with senior business leaders in Digital Engineering, Data and Platforms teams to deeply understand the drives of their groups to drive efficiency and good commercial outcomes
  • Working collaboratively with the broader FP&
    A and finance team to achieve financial objectives and encourage adherence to the general control environment
  • Continuously working to achieve forecast accuracy
  • Designing and implementing reporting processes for executive and leadership levels
  • Contribute to efficient capital allocation and investment decision-making


About you and your skills


We are looking for a driven Finance Business Partner who is comfortable challenging and influencing key stakeholders, competent in data-driven storytelling, and capable in navigating complex problems and ambiguity. Ideally you will have had exposure within the digital space, however this is not essential.

You will also ideally have;

  • CA/CPA or similar business qualification or near with commercial awareness and business focus
  • Experience in the Retail or FMCG sectors will be highly regarded, alternatively a big 4 or mid-tier environment
  • FP&
    A experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence at all levels of the organisation with a focus on commercial partnering
  • Strong Excel and financial modelling skills
  • System literacy;
    experience of developing dashboards in PowerBI or similar desirable
