Facilities Business Partner will deliver essential customer-centric services and solutions that add value, help people get their job done and ensures DTP meets it compliance obligations.
Reporting to the Team Leader Business Facilities &
Operations, the role isresponsible for providing skilled facilities management support to DTP Office and Depot sites across Victoria. You will be part of an experienced and responsive team, delivering services and working with stakeholders in a dynamic and complex environment. Job Description
Position Outcomes / Accountabilities
- Work with the Team Leader Business Facilities &
Operations to manage your responsible sites, utilising experience, and judgement to assess and influence contractor and service provider performance in delivering facilities management outcomes. - Contribute proactively to the development and achievement of team goals and plans and support other team members to achieve their objectives, provide site coverage and backup as and when required.
- Exercise judgement in contributing to the identification and implementation of solutions to complex problems or complicated issues, balancing financial responsibility with being customer centric.
- Build and maintain constructive relationships with external service providers, key stakeholders including internal and high value clients, to achieve effective reporting, advice and service outcomes.
Key Selection Criteria
To be successful in the role the ideal candidate will be proficient in workforce strategy and design, adeptly applying principles and models to support organisational change and effectively contributing to DTP's strategic goals. They will articulate the implications of workforce strategies on organisational culture, the workplace environment, and employee engagement, while supporting the deployment of DTP's Cultural Values. The candidate will also be involved in health, safety, and wellbeing initiatives, developing knowledge of relevant management systems and legislative requirements. Additionally, they will apply asset management knowledge in building operations, and contribute to reporting and methodologies pertaining to asset lifecycle management. Furthermore, they will demonstrate capabilities in strategic planning, critical thinking, and continuous improvement, along with excellent interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong external relationships.

Qualifications and Experience
- Tertiary or trade qualifications in a related discipline, and/or significant experience in facilities management role will be highly regarded, including in a government setting.
Role specific requirements
- Driver's license
- This position may require occasional work out of hours
- Employee will be expected to work three days per week in an office as a default. The number of days in the office may vary depending on the requirements of the role and the needs of the organization
- This role will require occasional overnight travel to Metro/Regional Victoria
- You may be required to undertake a medical and other safety compliance requirement
- Role will involve offices and depots operations and facilities management
