We have an amazing opportunity available for Environmental Business partner to join our team on our EnergyConnect project. EnergyConnect is a new energy infrastructure project that will enable greater sharing of electricity between NSW, Victoria and South Australia

The interconnector includes the construction of approximately 700km of new transmission line, and construction (both greenfield and brownfield) of three substations. The project is located between Wagga Wagga in New South Wales and Robertstown in South Australia, with a connection to Red Cliffs in Victoria. If you are looking to be part of a once in a lifetime opportunity and would like to and have the ability to work in a FIFO role (10/4 roster maximum 10 days on site) then please read on. Note:
you must have the ability to work away from home on a rotating roster and live on site as part of the project requirements.

We are currently looking for an Environmental Business Partner This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individuals to be part of a team dedicated to playing their part to enable nation-building renewable energy projects.

You will have a focus on and be able to effectively influence and manage expectations at all levels. A self-starter, you will thrive in a busy and ever changing, fast paced environment and will enjoy working autonomously.

What are we looking for?

  • Degree qualification in Environmental Engineering/Engineering Science/Natural Resources Management or equivalent.
  • Extensive knowledge of environmental and safety legislation relevant to electricity networks or similar linear infrastructure.
  • A current Drivers Licence.
  • Understand and be proficient in the use of spatial systems and software
  • Provision of environmental advice based on statutory obligations and requirements and associated regulations and guidelines
  • Ability to work remotely for extended periods of time - this role requires significant travel and working a minimum 5 days onsite every fortnight, or a 10/4 roster.
