Design Director

Exciting role for an established luxury property developer setting up an in-house design team in Sydney. This is a role for a registered architect with fantastic skills in early stages, client communication and team leadership. You will lead the design of key projects and also work with external architects on some projects. You will also work with purchasers and a real estate team on feasibilities and the design of apartments. With an established development and construction team in both Melbourne and Sydney this is a unique career opportunity.
Key Responsibilities

• Establish and grow an in-house architectural team Lead the design of key projects Participate on feasibility studies for new sites Liaise with eternal architects when required Initially work on established projects in Sydney and the Gold Coast Some interstate travel required Lead the overall project process Strong design and coordination skills Confident leadership and communication skills Ability to work with purchasers and real estate team to design internal apartment layouts
  

Skills and Experience

• Senior registered architect with 10-15 years' experience Highly capable and versatile all rounder Significant experience on the design of multi residential projects in NSW Experience in leading and building successful teams Ideally former experience on revit and the ability to still jump into files when required
