Design Director Environments

Operating at a senior level, the Design Director will help develop business strategy, manage project cycles from ideation and concept through to documentation and production, and lead a dedicated team of designers.Youwill need to analyse projects, manage budgets and manage projects through the studio.

You will bring a high-level design aesthetic, along with strong conceptual and technical skills. You will be confident and composed in client-facing presentations, as well as oversee your team and projects, mentoring, leading and generating ideas as well as collaborate with other team members.
A highly multifaceted and client facing role, this role requires someone who is extremely switched on, with a very keen eye for design and leadership capabilities.

Solid understanding of the built and design environment is required.

Skills &
Experience Required:

• 5+ years experience in a design-leadership role
• An award-winning portfolio and high-design aesthetic
• Strong communication skills - articulate, friendly and collaborative
• Demonstrated leadership ability
• Experience in managing multiple projects
• Adobe Creative Suite skills (essential)
• SketchUp / Blender / SignAgent Pro skills (beneficial)
