Data Engineer Cybersecurity

Join our Cyber Platforms team within the Cybersecurity department and assist with providing services to the wider Technology division.

What role you will play?

In this role, you will be analysing data sets to provide trends and insights, develop visualisations and reports, and build and maintain sophisticated data pipelines and systems to support our cybersecurity efforts.

You will have the opportunity to utilise your passion for security tools and automation to design and execute high data quality and system efficient projects with stakeholders whilst adhering to policies and guidelines.

What you offer

• 3+ years' of experience as a Software or Data Engineer in an enterprise environment
• Strong analytical skills and ability to collect, organise, analyse, and distribute information with high attention to detail
• Experience using SQL and knowledge of other database technologies (e.G., NoSQL, Hadoop, Cassandra)
• Strong programming skills which include Python, Java, or Scala
• Experience with big data tools (e.G., Spark, Kafka) and data pipeline and workflow management tools.
