About the role

This role can be found in Queensland's largest inland city. The area is known as the Garden City, famous for its beautiful parks, gardens and annual Carnival of Flowers spring event. Visitors and locals delight in the area's country charm, growing urban coffee culture, great food, festivals, unique crafts and flourishing street art scene.

As the successful applicant, you will be working in a large regional referral hospital offering mental health treatment and care programs which are delivered via an inpatient mental health unit and community outpatient clinics.

Mental health services teams provide support, treatment and care for people experiencing mental illness and disorders affecting their day-to-day functioning and life in general. The teams provide innovative solutions aimed at helping individuals to manage their condition, collaborating closely with general practitioners, other service providers and non-government organisations. A range of services are provided including assessment, referral, counselling, information, case management, dual diagnosis and group programs.
