THE ROLE:

Nova is looking for an experienced Commercial Operations Director to consolidate support functions and lead the business through a period of exciting change.

Leading a team of 20 people who support Nova's Commercial activity, this role has a broad remit across pricing, trading, airtime systems, operations and data analysis.

The role will work closely with senior stakeholders across Sales, Create, Digital, Finance and Technology to create future workflows and supporting technology while maintaining a centre of excellence in each department pillar.

What you will be doing and what skills you may have:

With a view to enhancing and improving Nova's All of Audio future, this role will evolve the current systems and processes to create a seamless end to end campaign workflow. This will include;

- Working with the CEO, CFO and Group Exec to identify future requirements, opportunities and create strategies to support

- Working with Technology to identify and develop technology to automate processes and connect disparate systems

- Working with Sales and Finance to create workflows that reduce manual effort and risk, putting time back into sales hands

- Clearly communicating the strategy to the business and maintaining connection and communication throughout implementation

In addition, this role will provide leadership and guidance to their teams of specialists to ensure they continue to deliver;

Mentorand develop experts in the Pricing and Inventory, Trading, Operations and Analysis teams

Provide guidance and decision making on key commercial deals

Oversee revenue and yield management strategy

Oversee analysis of revenue, inventory and market data, trends and insights

Ideally, to be successful in this role you will bring with you:

10 years+ in media owner and/or agency operations

Evidence of working in a fast paced, disrupted business that can identify but also respond quickly to market trends and changes

Demonstrable experience leading a business through transformation

Evidence of advanced analytical skills and decision making in a data led environment

Experience extracting, manipulating data and generating insights

In depth understanding of Audio and industry trends

Evidence of working with media systems and tools eg RCS Aquira, Triton, Adquest, eRAM, Neilsen CMV

Experience working with tech suppliers

This is a full-time, on-site position located in our Pyrmont studios.
