Job Description

  • Oversee the enhancement of financial reporting mechanisms ensuring meticulous accuracy.
  • Spearhead comprehensive financial analysis, pinpointing both growth avenues and optimisation potential.
  • Direct and refine annual budgeting and periodic forecasting, ensuring alignment with broader strategic aims.
  • Collaborate across departments to support short, medium and long term planning across key business channels
  • Implement robust cash flow reporting processes, proactively devising strategies for optimum cash management.
  • Foster a strong collaborative ethos with commercial teams, underpinning data-driven financial insights and strategies.
  • Work synergistically with operations, aligning financial objectives with operational directives.
  • Cultivate a robust internal financial control landscape, ensuring the company's assets are safeguarded and full regulatory compliance is maintained.
  • Regularly evaluate and enhance financial performance metrics and KPIs, instigating improvements as required.
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team, nurturing a culture of ongoing professional development, and empowerment.
  • Act as the primary interface with external auditors, ensuring seamless audit engagements.
  • Play an instrumental role in long-term financial planning and risk mitigation.
  • Drive initiatives focused on capital management and investment opportunities.
  • Advocate for technological advancements in the finance department, enhancing efficiency and data accessibility.

The Successful Applicant
