Aston Carter has been exclusivelyengaged to recruit a Chief Financial Officer for a 12 month contract working for an established Domestic Investment Financial Group. The organisation has a strategic focus, and strong history, of high growth across their portfolio.

This organization is seeking an experienced finance leader to oversee end-to-end financial and fund operations for their organisation. The CFO role is entrusted to support the group through a key period of operational transformation, ensuring the business is positioned for long term performance.

The Role

Partnering with the executive leadership team, the CFO will be responsible for;

• Day to dayleadership of all Financial Control, Accounting and Compliance responsibilities for the parent entity
• Fund Operations oversight including Investor Reporting, Unit Pricing and Performance Calculations, Month-end and Fund Compliance
• Month-end reporting and all financial planning and strategic modelling
• Tax reporting and Compliance, including managing key advisory partner relationships
• Direct Investor dialogue around organisational performance
• Managing bank relationship and key external bodies
• Statutory reporting
• Provision of advice to ELT on strategic directions and organisational initiatives
• Given the size of the organisation, a keenness to roll your sleeves up and be in the detail is what will set the successful individual apart.

The Candidate

• Strong background within the Funds and Investment Management sector.
• Experience within a Head of Finance, CFO, Financial Control or Director of Finance position is essential.
• Attention to detail and background leading both Financial Control and Fund Operations in an organisation are essential.
