About the role

In this dynamic and challenging role you will be responsible for taking charge of the day to day operations of the business including, but limited to working closely with the sales team, managing some major accounts, the warehouse team, deliveries, accounts, and you will also work closely with Senior Management to assist with the implementation of new policies and procedures to help streamline the business.

Skills &
experience

As the ideal candidate and to make the transition as smooth as possible, you will possess the following key attributes:

  • Previous sales/operations management experience within the Aluminium/Steel/Metals industries
  • Excellent customer relationship management skills
  • A "

    approach to business
  • A sound technical knowledge of the industry and related products
  • The ability to work closely with people across all levels of the business
  • Previous experience implementing policies and procedures that have helped streamline operations
  • Sound commercial acumen with an understanding of financial matters
  • Excellent time management, presentation, negotiation and communication skills
