We are looking for a passionate and engaging Allied Health Assistant to join our team in Buderim. You will have the opportunity to develop and extend your clinical practice in a friendly, well supported and multi-disciplinary team.

The opportunity:
Support families to implement therapy strategies into their everyday lives through coaching, clinic and community-based therapy, group programs and linking families with community supports;
Learn from a team of experienced OTs and SLPs through joint sessions, supervision, note-taking, report writing and therapy resource development;
Work closely with key stakeholders and ensure ongoing communication, coaching, modelling and support are provided to ensure quality therapy services and supports;
Ensure a focus on continuous improvement through participation in our comprehensive professional development program, regular meetings, training sessions and career development plans.
What do you need to join?
Passion for making a difference in the lives of children and their families!
No qualification is required, however experience with children and families with additional needs (including lived experience), is highly desirable;
and be
Working towards or completed an OT qualification;
Have an awareness of the NDIS;
A strong communicator with excellent organisational skills;
Able to work withina multi-disciplinary team and autonomously in the community;
Possess a valid Australian Drivers licence and car which can be used for community visits;
Able to obtain or have – Working with Children Check, National Police Check, NDIS Workers Screening Check, CPR and First Aid certificate.
