About The Role:

We're looking for a coach that can empower teams to be successful - a team that is engaged, innovative, productive and delivers high quality. Working with scrum and scaled agile, you'll know when to step back and allow the team to learn from mistakes, and when to guide, explain and provide ideas and options. You will also know when to push. You'll be equally comfortable one on one, working with a team, establishing relationships with external teams, and communicating with senior managers. You'll be a problem solver and above all understand how to empower teams to get things done. As an Agile Team Coach working with our Treasury teams you will also:

  • Provide coaching to teams with a strong focus on Agile practices
  • Coach and mentor, Product Owners, Agile teams and management to enhance release planning, Agile ceremonies, continuous integration and continuous delivery practices
  • Evaluate Agile methodologies and implement agility in the project delivery processes using SAFe and Scrum
  • Improve delivery predictability across teams
  • Facilitate discussion, decision making and conflict resolution
  • Provide support to the team using a servant leadership style whenever possible and leading by example
  • Remove impediments or guide the team to remove the impediments
  • Introduce new ideas to improve productivity
  • Support and educate the Product Owner, especially with respect to grooming and maintaining the product backlog


What You Will Need:

  • You will have a proven track record in Agile team coaching ideally within an IT/SAAS environment. Knowledge of the financial services/banking environment would be ideal
  • You will have worked previously in a technical role such as QA or Development and have a solid understanding of technical requirements
  • Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification, SAFe Scrum Master, Professional Scrum Master or equivalent


Bonus if You Have:

  • Certified Scrum Professional (CSP) certification
  • SAFe Program Consultant (SPC5) certification or equivalent
  • Project Management Institute - Agile Certified Professional
  • SAFe for Teams certification or equivalent
  • SAFe Agilist certification or equivalent
