Our HR team consists of specialists across the globe who support the business through a number of key areas, including Employee Relations and Industrial Relations, Talent Acquisition and Management, Organisational Development and Compensation and Benefits.

As Toll continues its transformation journey, a new opportunity has become available for a Vice President, Organisation Development to join the HR leadership team, where you will lead the corporate centre of excellence for Organisation Development, including leadership, succession planning, learning, culture and employee engagement.

As Vice President, Organisation Development you will,

  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners (BPs) to review results of recent training needs analysis or undertake this analysis where required and, develop and implement a plan to address critical gaps in capability and the learning curriculum.

  • Source content from best-in-class vendors where affordable to ensure Toll employees undertake training in the most cost-effective was, utilising multiple channels and modes of delivery to cater for differing learning preferences

  • Work with Chair, CEO and CPO to establish a succession plan for the CEO role and design and execute development plans for internal candidates identified in this process. Work with the CEO, CPO and each GLT member to do the same for all "
    C-level"
    roles.

  • Work through HRBPs to establish succession plans for all critical "
    Non-C-level"
    roles and advise HRBPs in the design and execution of development plans for internal candidates identified in this process.

  • Lead the assessment of employee engagement and culture at Toll and development of initiatives for improvement of these

  • Lead and develop all team members to ensure they perform to the requirements of their role and realise their potential for career progression within existing constraints

To ensure that your success, you will possess:

  • Extensive experience in leadership development and succession planning in similar scale and scope industrial organisations

  • Experience with leadership capability/style assessment/evaluations

  • Expertise in organisation culture measurement and change

  • Track record in employee engagement measurement and improvement

  • Certifications in the use of established psychometric tools (e.G. Hogan, Saville Wave, LSI/OCI, Barrett etc, valued)

  • Experience in generalist HR, preferred but not essential

  • Exposure to multi-national environments essential with track record in a global role preferred

  • Degree qualified
